Instant Pot Chickpeas
Chickpeas in the Instant pot are tender, buttery, and so delicious! Use in all your favorite dishes that call for chickpeas – perfect for meal-prepping!

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. package of dried garbanzo beans (chickpeas) Make sure to use organic chickpeas which are not sprayed with glyphosates
- 6 cups water (or enough to just cover chickpeas)
Instructions
- Add dried chickpeas to Instant pot and cover with water (water should be about 1 inch above chickpeas, about 6 cups)
- Close lid and turn nozzle to 'seal'.
- Press "Pressure Cook" for 50 minutes and allow to cook for allotted time.
- After Instant pot beeps, allow 15 minutes for natural pressure release.
- Move nozzle to 'vent' and release remaining pressure.
- Add 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt to cooked chickpeas.
