My plant-based taco meat is absolutely delicious and full of protein! And this cost less than $5 to make!! 🙌

Ingredients
- 1 block Extra-firm organic tofu
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 2 Tbsp. Nutritional yeast
- 1 pinch seasoning salt
Instructions
- Using a potato masher, mash the tofu until it resembles crumbly meat consistency.
- Add taco seasoning, nutritional yeast, and seasoning salt and stir until thoroughly combined
- Spread evenly onto parchment lined baking sheet.
- Spray the top with avocado or olive oil to get a crispier texture.
- Bake in pre-heated 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
- Use immediately or store in airtight container in fridge for several days and use in your favorite Mexican dishes.
