This plant based “Bolognese” sauce is delish, you won’t even miss the meat! The lentils give it a “meaty” texture while providing tons of fiber and plant based protein. This is an easy, healthy, delicious, and budget-friendly weeknight dinner 🙌

  • 3 boxes Gluten Free Penne Pasta
  • 2 cans black lentils, undrained
  • 2 jars Prepared Pasta Sauce
  • 2/3 cup Plant based milk (soy or oat are good options)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or truffle oil)
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • salt & pepper to taste


  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat all remaining ingredients on stove until bubbly, then simmer on low for 15-20 minutes. Serve over pasta. Top with grated Parmesan cheese or Vegan Cheese alternative to keep completely vegan. SO good!
