For a more budget-friendly blender that can blend smaller amounts, the NutriBullet is another great option. This personal sized blender is perfect for blending one or two servings at a time. Simple Green Smoothies
Another one of my favorite resources for all things smoothies is Simple Green Smoothies. Their companion cookbook is fabulous, and they just recently released a Green Smoothie app for your phone. Whether you’re new to blending or have been making smoothies for years, you’ll love the incredible resources they provide on their website.
Mason Jars are excellent for storing and drinking your green smoothies. With a wide variety of shapes and sizes, these durable glass containers are also freezer proof, making them an excellent choice for make-ahead smoothie ingredients.
Ziploc freezer bags are another excellent way to store make ahead smoothie ingredients in the freezer. These bags are BPA-free and are a convenient way to stick with the green smoothie habit!
If you want to keep your smoothie cold for hours, I highly recommend Yeti cups! These are a favorite in our house for everything from hot coffee to cold smoothies. These cups are extremely durable and made of double walled stainless steel.
Hopefully these resources will help get you started on the incredible health habit of drinking green smoothies!
