I can’t get enough of my latest recipe creation…collagen cocoa!

With colder weather, it’s definitely cocoa season.  But so many hot cocoa recipes are full of sugar or worse – artificial ingredients or hydrogenated oils!

No thanks!

But since I do love hot cocoa,  I decided to create a healthy version that is refined sugar free AND good for your skin and joints.  Yes, you read that right! The secret ingredient?

Collagen!

Collagen is essential for healthy skin, hair, and joints.  It’s also good for helping leaky gut syndrome.  And it’s full of protein.  But as we age, our productions of collagen starts to decline.  That’s why we experience achy joints and saggy skin. But adding collagen to your diet can help reverse these negative effects of aging.  And what better way to include collagen in your diet than through a hot cocoa recipe!  I love this brand!

My hot cocoa also has raw cacao powder, which is rich in magnesium and antioxidants.  And coconut palm sugar 🌴 adds healthy sweetness as well as its own dose of vitamins and minerals.

It’s super simple to whip up this mix and have it on hand in your pantry for cold winter days or when a sweet craving strikes.
