Welcome to The Healthy Happy Woman! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Sally Nance, and I’m a Pastor’s Wife, mommy to 3 children (2 wonderful boys and a precious girl now with Jesus), Certified Holistic Health Coach, Essential Oil Educator, Homeschooler, lover of books, cooking, traveling, exercising, time with my family and friends, and most of all my Savior.
I love to experiment in the kitchen. It’s one of my favorite de-stressors! I try to follow a clean eating lifestyle, so you’ll find that my recipes are gluten-free, sugar-free, and often Paleo-friendly. My health dramatically improved when I started focusing on whole foods and staying away from processed and packaged foods. You can read more about my health journey here.
Another key element to changing my health has been regular exercise. Some days it’s a struggle to make the effort to work out, but I always feel better when I do. It energizes me and puts me in a good mood!
My health also dramatically improved when I started using essential oils and getting on a customized supplement regimen. The addition of these two to my overall health protocol proved to be a game changer for me!
I believe true health and happiness focuses on the whole person. I believe God has created us as spiritual and physical beings. They are like two sides of the same coin. I have learned that I am healthiest and happiest when I am polishing both sides of that coin. That’s why daily time in God’s Word and prayer are a must for me. Beginning the day with my Heavenly Father, meditating on the truths of His Word, and praying over every area of my life are essential for me to have a healthy and happy perspective.
