My Prayer Notebook Post has been one of the top posts on my blog since I started it last summer. I really think the reason for this is that many women are looking for ways to organize their prayer time and make the most use of their time with the Lord each day.
Not long ago, I came across the wonderful blog, Stone Soup for Five. I was delighted to find that Kari had several posts and videos about her prayer notebook. I got some great ideas and made some changes to my notebook (the great part about using a 3 ring binder is that you can change it!). I really encourage you to check out these posts:
A Walk Through Kari’s Prayer Binder – You can access the different posts about her prayer binder through this post. There are also some very helpful videos at the end of this post showing you several ways to set up a prayer notebook. I highly recommend!
It was also through Kari’s blog that I first discovered this precious video of a dear, older saint showing us how she has used a prayer notebook over the years to pray over every area of her life. Well worth watching!
I hope these different resources encourage you and give you more creative ideas on how to personalize your prayer notebook and make it a life-changing tool. I’d love to hear if any of you have started a prayer notebook and how you’ve set it up. Has it transformed your Quiet times?
